The January Sew Box has been officially released so now I can share what is in it. January sparks a fresh new year and this month’s box theme is “New Year Colour”
This month the box contains
- Insul-Bright interfacing / wadding
- Colouring fabric panel
- Packet of fabric markers
- Cording in navy blue and pink
- 25 coloured bobbins
- 8 toggles
- 8 zipper pulls
- Eyelet set and tools
- School Days pattern bundle by Sew Boxes
- Pea and Corn Lunch Bag set by Sew Sweetness
This box is so colourful and fun. A rainbow in a box. It is kids themed in some ways with the “School Days” bundle however even without kids you can still use the ideas, patterns and of course items in the box. The patterns are cute and can be made for both young and old. I love the bobbins, they look to cute to wrap thread around. Insul-Bright is product I have used before to make potholders and it is very good, I actually had no more left in my stash so now I can think ideas with it again. The fabric is a colouring book on cloth. Kids and adults could spend hours colouring it in. I spent a long time looking at all the different images on it.
If you follow the Sew Box Facebook page you get sneak peek in the month prior to what the next month’s box theme is. I had an idea of what item may be included in the box so my brain had already begun ticking and planning before the boxes had even been shipped.
